Endo Mechanical Device

1. Hemorrhoid Staplers

Technological advances across numerous scientific disciplines have produced unique surgical devices and instruments that are used during a surgery. Both, the ongoing introduction of new devices and the continuing technical improvements in existing devices are changing the ways surgeons perform traditional tasks and enable them to develop new surgical techniques with the goal of improving patient outcomes. The surgical stapler is an example of a device that has evolved through the ongoing innovation and is currently being used in several surgical procedures. The stapling technique was pioneered by the Hungaria, surgeon, Humor Hultl, known as the "Father of Surgical Stapling". From Hultl's prototype to today's surgical stapling concept, there have been revolutionary changes and Meril's surgical stapling range is aligned with these developments to provide excellent patient outcomes with accurate device function. MIRUS" reflects the symbol of excellence and motivates us to give additional features leading to superior patient outcomes. With advanced computer aided designing, ultra-modern manufacturing facility, trained manpower, good quality control, MIRUS™ stapling products are able to deliver optimal tissue compression, accurate B-shape formation and leak proof anastomoses. With the help of advanced development process, MIRUS "surgical stapling portfolio will continue to add features and benefits to make it a symbol of excellence.

2.Vision Clear Trocar

(a) Monik

An access System that enables hassle-free laparoscopic access and allows you to focus solely on your patient with a simple twisting motion, the Bird Wing Bladeless Tip separates the tissue, rather than cutting it.
The Result: A smaller wound, less trauma and easier closure.

Optical Entry:
  • Enables visualization of tissue layers during insertion
  • Makes the first entry safe
Bird Wing Tip (BWT) Bladeless Design:
  • Low insertion force
  • Separates rather than cuts along tissue fibers.
  • Pushing tissue and vessels away Smaller wound defect.
  • Low port site herniation rate
Durable Primary Seal:
  • Able to withstand pressure and long lasting performance
  • Accommodates a wide range of instrument sizes
Internal Secondary Seal:
  • Facilitates small specimen retrieval, Hernia mesh introduction and Laparoscopic suturing

3. Disposable Trocar

(a) Eliro

An Access System that enables hassle-free laparoscopic access and allows you to focus solely on your patient with a simple twisting motion, the bladeless tip separates the tissue, rather than cutting it.
The result: a smaller wound, less trauma and easier closure.

Tissue Separating Flap:
  • Bladeless tip with tissue separating flap
  • Low Insertion force with simple twisting motion
  • Separates rather than cuts along tissue fibers, pushing tissue and vessels away
  • Contributes to faster tissue healing
  • Makes the first entry safe
Durable Primary Seal:
  • Able to withstand pressure and long lasting performance
  • Maintains insufflation while accommodating a wide range of instrument sizes
Internal Secondary Seal:
  • Facilitate small specimen retrieval, Hernia mesh introduction and Laparoscopic suturing

(c)Merigrow

Polypropylene Macroporous Light Weight Mesh

Advantages
  • Offers Soft Feel, Elasticity, Excellent Strength.
  • More Flexible Than Conventional Polypropylene Mesh.
  • Rounded Mesh Edges.
  • Unique Interlocking Knitting.
  • Extensibility Across X & Y Axis
Pore size (2.3mm - 1.5mm)
  • Large pores allow faster & better soft tissue ingrowth , lower foreign body reaction resulting in formation of flexible scar.
  • Large pores allow infiltration by macrophages, fibroblasts, blood vessels, collagen and monocytes, reducing chances of mesh infection.
Weight (55 gsm)
  • Light weight causes less foreign body reaction, causing less fibrosis and chances of nerve entrapment. This results in better tissue incorporation, increased compliance of the prosthesis and decreased patient discomfort and pai(n9).
  • Light weight induces less formation of seroma.
ELASTICITY (25%) AND MEMORY
  • Large pores with light weight increase elasticity and reduce memor(2y), which allows ease of handling during procedure.
  • Merigrow shape is adaptable in nature and has multidirectional elasticity which matches to abdominal wall dynamics as closely as possible and returns back to its original shape.
Burst Strength (98 N/cm2)
  • Maximum intra abdominal pressure 24 kPa (2.4 N/cm2).
  • Stronger tensile strength allows greater support to tissues during changing intra abdominal pressures.(1).
Indications
  • Open & laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair.
  • Open Ventral Hernia repair.
  • E-TEP procedure.
  • Merigrow 50 X 50 : TAR procedure.
(d)Merineum
Blue Lines
  • Improved visibility.
  • Ease of mesh distinguish during laparoscopy.
  • Ease of mesh orientation.
Well Proportioned Drainage Hole
  • Ensure seroma drainage in time.
  • Facilitates fibroblast growth.
  • Ease of taking transfascial suture.
Synthetic Absorbable Anti-adhesive Barrier
  • Strong barrier - More resistant to damage during deployment through trocar.
  • Protection against adhesion formation during critical period.
  • PLCL barrier resorbs between 90-120 days.
